Capture Collective

Project Overview //

The Barnabas International MK Transition Seminar is designed for missionary kids (MKs) who have just completed their high school experience overseas. The seminar provides helpful tools that prepare students for the transition back into life and college in North America. This is an opportunity to build relationships with other MKs and at the same time learn and discuss various issues related to the transition experience.

How Capture Was Involved //

Created a branded icon for the event that was used for apparel. Each student was able to take one home with them to help remember that years experience and life change.

Project Outcome //

The following is a message from Jameson Bradford who has been a seminar facilitator for the past 3 years.

“The Barnabas transition seminars are structured to help missionary kids (MK’s) understand their story, share their story, and live their story. Essentially, we wanted to equip the MK’s with yet another tool they could use in sharing their story so the design needed to be one they identified with and would choose to wear outside of the group photo.

Capture delivered. On registration day, it was love at first sight. The MKs were stoked and some even bought extras in a different color to be sure the tee was part of their weekly wardrobe. The tees brought unity amongst the students at the seminar but then also gave students that powerful tool of self-expression once away at their chosen colleges. ”
